Day 202: Sonflowers:)

I have been in a truly wonderful Sonflowers Group at the UCSC with Jordan, Sumner, and Brittney. This group has blessed me beyond belief. 
Tonight, Sumner gave each of us a sweet canvas she made for all of us, to show how much we mean to her. How awesome is she?? This is such talent and it's so beautiful!! 
I just love it:)

Day 201: SCHEDULE!!

The night before class begins is always exciting for me! I LOVE to get my calendar organized and fill up my binders and print out my syllabi. Don't make fun of me. I'm gonna be a teacher. I'm supposed to like doing these things. Haha!

So I thought for today's picture, I'd take a picture of my semester, since this is what will be consuming me for the next semester! Along with the classes written down in the schedule, I also have two online classes. 

Day 200: Last night at home:(

Tonight was my last night at home. It's always so hard for me to leave Knoxville after a long break because I'm so incredibly close with my family. So, we went out to Cracker Barrel (which is a REAL treat for us!!) I already miss them! 

We have such good memories from this break. I'm so grateful I recorded some of those moments on this blog. 

Day 199: Mario Kart CHAMPION

Jenna and I are VERY competitive when it comes to playing games against each other. Let's be real: Typically, she wins. But, lately, I've been on a winning streak. She is INCREDIBLE at Mario Kart, so when we played the other night, and I WONNNNNNN, she was pissed and I was jumping up and down!! What a wonderful moment! So, of course, I had to take a picture of the screen! Not 1st place after one game, but after a tournament!!

Day 198: the Relationship between Sarah and Whiskers

Right before this picture, Sarah was holding Whiskers up like in the Lion King. But, I chose this picture instead. Just look at the emotion in Whiskers' eyes. It's a mix of fear and anger. You can also tell by her body language that she is pissed. Ah, it's hilarious. This is their relationship. Sarah bugs her and Whiskers gets mad. 

Day 197: Volleyball Captain

Mom was SO excited at the K2 scrimmage tournament this weekend when Sarah was chosen to be captain for this match. It's her first time and it was really exciting for us. Sarah, of course, didn't make a big deal about it...but Mom and I were so proud so I had to snap a picture. This is a picture of Sarah and the other team's captain shaking hands. 

P.S. They won both games in this match:)

Day 196: How hot in January??

I just HAD to document the temperature today! It's January 11th and it's 71 degrees!! What? I usually hate when it's hot during the winter, but I loved it today because I got to put my new sunroof to some good use!! It was just wonderful:)

Day 195: Sarah's Christmas Gift

I got this shirt for my sister for Christmas! It's the Lion King "lyrics". She always holds our cat up and sings this song! I was so happy to see her finally wearing it!

Day 194: Driving my new car:)

We put a deposit on the car yesterday. Today, we got to go pick it up!! This is me with my new car! I'm beyond excited!!! I drove home so slowly because I didn't want anything to happen to it!
It's so awesome!
God is so so good! Being patient paid off:)

Day 193: WE BOUGHT A CAR!!!

After WEEKS of searching for a car after I wrecked mine, we FINALLY found one that I LOVEEE!! It's a 2000 infiniti i30. I just love it. It's in incredible condition for being 13 years old. It has leather seats and power everything on the inside! It's got a sunroof, too! 
This is all God, for sure. From the second we had the wreck, I knew that God has had this whole situation in His hands.
Many of you may not think that having power everything is a big deal, but after years of having a car with roll up windows and manual locks, this is such a treat!!
Every time I use my clicker to unlock my doors, I get so excited!!

Day 192: Pinky accident

As Jenna was braiding my hair while we were watching our favorite show The Biggest Loser, her knee accidentally crushed my pinky. I instantly had tears in my eyes, then she saw my tears, so she teared up, then I started laughing. but, boy it hurt. That red stuff is the blood in my finger bursting inside!! Crazy!!!

Day 191: Shipping Wars with friends!

Tonight, Lindsey, Jenna, and I all hung out. It was so fun and so needed!! 
We got addicted to Shipping Wars tonight. It may not SOUND like a great show, but it is!! You will get addicted:)

While we were taking a picture for my picture of the day, somebody kept getting frustrated with their double chin, so we decided to take a picture like this!
We're awesome. 

Day 190: Even better than my sister!!

Yesterday's post was about how awesome my sister was at yahtzee! Well, tonight, while Sarah was out with friends, Mom and I played. I ended up getting 3 yahtzees in a game AND my score was higher than my sister's!! So, yes, I'm better than her. 

Day 189: Yahtzee Queen

Tonight, Sarah killed everybody in Yahtzee. I just had to take this picture of her. She was so proud of herself. She got like 3 yahtzees in a single game. Ridiculous!!

Day 188: What I do when I get bored

Well, not having a car means that I'm locked inside the house...so after a day of doing of nothing and completely relaxing, I baked some cookies! We got a mix in a jar for Christmas from our neighbors, so I decided to bake them today!
This is my picture today because I literally did nothing else of excitement. 

Day 187: Dance Moms is BACK!!

We have been waiting for weeks for Dance Moms to come back on :) And it finally has! So, this is a picture of our excited faces for Dance Moms! And it was a GREAT season premiere!!

Day 186: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For New Years, my best friend and I went to Market Square......planning on spending dinner time through midnight there...HOWEVER, we got there around 6, ate some delicious dinner, and realized there is no way we would last in the cold until midnight! So, we snapped some fun pictures around the Christmas lights then headed back to the apartment, and watched the ball drop there.
Our plan for next year: Have boyfriends to do all of this stuff with!
This was a fun way to start off the new year:)
